When these children don’t have access to the free and reduced meal programs at school, they don’t have access to reliable food and the risk of hunger is very real. Every Meal works to fight hunger in our community by filling the gaps in food access that children face during weekends, summers, and extended breaks.
Plant a selection of bee-friendly wild flowers
Many bee populations are declining due to habitat loss, disease and pesticide poisoning. Domesticated honeybees managed for honey production and agricultural services are also struggling. By planting a selection of local, bee-friendly wild flowers and plants, each of us can create a habitat to support our local bee populations.
